In order to maintain our clean tested herd of Nubians, we do not allow farm visits at this time!
Meet Our Herd
Welcome to Bethel Forest Farm! Our herd of Nubian dairy goats is the heart of our farm. Each goat has a unique personality and contributes to the rich, creamy milk that is the foundation of our farm's products. Take a moment to get to know our beloved residents and the role they play in our farm's story.

Sadie
Sadie is our "Big momma" of the herd. She has such a sweet and gentle disposition. When we go in the goat barn, all she wants is to be right next to us getting scratches on the neck. She work shard and milks about a gallon daily!

Merlot
Merlot is Ms. Independent like her mother, Tanqueray. She enjoys trying to be herd queen and often strays away from the herd to find the hidden "cookies" in the pasture.

Bell
Bell is THE herd queen. She is very sweet but is sure everybody is in check. If she walks over and decides she wants something- its hers. She will "yell" at the other goats and doesn't stop until she gets her way. We lover her quirky personality!

Saffron
Saffron is our newest member of the family. Sweet, quiet, and gentle. She welcomed the 2024 kids with open arms... well hooves, and showed them how to navigate being the "new kid on the block".

Camellia
Camellia is very dependent on her sister, Clementine. When we first purchased her, she was a reserved and cautious little thing. Now, she will walk right up to us and demand treats with the rest of the herd!

Tanqueray
Tanqueray, "Grammy" as we like to call her, is the Grandmother to Fireball, and Mother to Merlot. She has a BEAUTIFUL udder and milks over a gallon a day! Milking her has to be done on her terms- sometimes she has to be first, others she has to be last. That's ok though- she is so well behaved on the milk stand, so its worth it!

Juniper
Juniper is a big, BEAUTIFUL, girl with the best personality of them all! She has matured beautifully and we are so happy to have her in our herd.

Eva
Eva is our social goat. She originally was part of our family's herd in Westminster, SC. She attended the South Carolina Bigfoot festival and got some air time on the local news (she didn't have much to say haha). She is growing more sassy in her years passing. She always finds the most awkward position to nap (as you can see) and likes to keep us on our toes!

Tequila
Tequila is one of those girls that is just a good goat. She has great milk stand manners, gets along with everyone (2 and 4 legged), isnt a picky eater, takes meds well. We wish she could teach a goat manners class to some of her sisters!

Magnolia
Magnolia is our "quiet kid". She is very very sweet but she definitely knows when someone other than her "humans" are out there. Stranger danger!

Willow (and her buckling, Gravy)
Willow looks just like Juniper- just a bit smaller. But what she lacks in height, she is sure to make up for in width. She is our little piggy!

Beans
Beans is one of our home bred 2024 doelings!

Noodle
Noodle is Beans' twin! She is the bigger of the two.

Stem
Stem is Tequilas buck from 2023. We love his "macho man" personality and tries to impress the ladies... from the opposite end of the farm. Fall time with this man is really rough on the nose (if you know, you know)

Angus
Angus is our favorite little 2024 buckling out of Tequila and Aurthur. (yes- we hate the way Aurthur's previous owner spelled it, too!) Those beautiful laced ears are sure to draw everyone in!

French Fry
French Fry is Eva's 2024 buckling. With her being a first time mom, things didn't go exactly as planned. He was born VERY premature. This little man didn't let that hold him up one bit! He's flourishing! We will make a blog post about "the story of French Fry" that will explain this little miracle.

Clementine
Clementine is very dependent on her twin sister, Camellia. They are basically carbon copies of each other.

Marigold
Marigold acts like she wants nothing to do with you unless there is a treat involved! Then she is all of the sudden your best friend! (Kind of like that one kid you knew in high school that messages you randomly asking for money to "help a friend out")

Aurthur
Aurthur is our BIG, sweet boy! This photo is from when we first got him but he has put on quite a few pounds! We love everything about this sweet gentleman except for the way his original owner spelled his name- but we can look past that for such a handsome guy!

Jill
Jill has a special place in our hearts. This old girl is the reason Colby is so into our goats. She stole his heart and continues to make us laugh every day with her goofy ways! This picture pretty much sums up her personality!

Fireball
Fireball is Merlots daughter and Tanqueray's granddaughter. She is a kind soul and it amazes us how like her mother she is! We call her "mini merlot"- although she is about the size of her!
"Support" a goat
Supporting our herd is easy and meaningful. By purchasing our products, you directly contribute to their care, well-being, and the production of future products. Your generosity helps us maintain a happy and healthy herd. Join us in this journey and enjoy what our farm has to offer!
