Our Favorite Event Of The Year!

We love this time of the year! The wether is cooling down (supposedly), breeding season is upon us, and its time for the 11 day coastal Carolina fair! October 31- November 10th.

The coastal Carolina fair has been in operation in Charleston county since 1922. Yes it is a lot of fun, it also is for a good cause! The since 1957, the fair raised millions of dollars for local charities, scholarships, and other community needs. It is family friendly, and there's something for everyone there.

We are in the agriculture building, and bring out a wide variety of different products from bar soap to cuticle balms- all made with our goats milk. We truly love our vendor neighbors and it feels like a little family. We cook, we laugh, and we share tips and input. Some of these events we do have vendors that are not the nicest, and this is a breath of fresh air.

One of our favorite things to do is talk goats. Since we are in the agriculture building, we are right in front of the barn. People actually have to walk past our booth to get to the barn. This brings animal lovers and goat nerds our way- we love sharing our stories and knowledge with other goat people.

The fair food is also good too. Its so tempting to fill up on Oreos, cheese curds, cotton candy, the list goes on and on. We actually saved aside some cotton candy to give to one of the goats. Who doesn't love letting their pets enjoy a special treat every now and then?
